My guess is that Apple has not only been developing it’s OS to run on the Intel processor, but they’ve also been developing their software applications to run on Windows. Just like Quicktime and iTunes have been ported for Windows, so will their suite of iLife applications. I mean, wouldn’t it make sense? They are having to develop versions that run on the Intel processor anyway. Would it be that big of a jump to make the software run on “WinTel” system? I think not. I think it is just a matter of time until we see full blown Apple Applications being sold for the millions of windows users. Wouldn’t it be great to have iPhoto run on your windows xp system? Also, Apple recently announced that their iDVD application will now run on any DVD burner – they no longer require that you have a superdrive from Apple. I think they are simply gearing up to sell their incredibly affordable ($79) suite to the masses and continue to earn record profits!<\/p>\n
I do not guarantee these statements, they are simply my theories.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
With the latest hardware announcments from Apple, I’m surprised more people haven’t come up with the following theory.
