Apple iLife on a PC

With the latest hardware announcments from Apple, I’m surprised more people haven’t come up with the following theory. My guess is that Apple has not only been developing it’s OS to run on the Intel processor, but they’ve also been developing their software applications to run on Windows. Just like Quicktime and iTunes have been ported for Windows, so will their suite of iLife applications. I mean, wouldn’t it make sense? They are having to develop versions that run on the Intel processor anyway. Would it be that big of a jump to make the software run on “WinTel” system? I think not. I think it is just a matter of time until we see full blown Apple Applications being sold for the millions of windows users. Wouldn’t it be great to have iPhoto run on your windows xp system? Also, Apple recently announced that their iDVD application will now run on any DVD burner – they no longer require that you have a superdrive from Apple. I think they are simply gearing up to sell their incredibly affordable ($79) suite to the masses and continue to earn record profits!

I do not guarantee these statements, they are simply my theories.

My First Blog

Okay, I’ve done it. I finally cracked. I now have a blog. I just couldn’t resist the temptation to learn what all the fuss was about. I don’t have too much to offer so far (obviously), but I can say this, WORDPRESS is the easiest damn application I have ever installed on a web server! It simply kicks ass. Took me all of about 4 minutes and I’m no genious (obviously). Not only is it a cinch to install, but it looks great too. Very clean application. My thanks to the programmers!

I’m not yet sure what will be posted here, but I’m confident I’ll come up with something. Oh, and if you were looking for the old site, sorry, it’s gone. I got tired of getting hacked (phpnuke security is weak).
