I have to side with Apple on this one. I think NBC and the like should be thankful for what Apple is able to provide them. Some money is better than none at all. Greed will ultimately kill these big dogs. Apple provides a safe and easy mechanism for people to access these videos. If it’s not on iTunes, people will find alternative (non-legal) solutions. Alternative solutions usually mean no money for NBC and the like. iTunes is popular and easy to use. Hmm, sounds like what customers want. If NBC thinks they can do a better job, I’d like to see them try. I’ll still be using iTunes and possibly some other (free) method to get SNL videos.
